When pregnant, the important things to keep in mind are:

- Eat healthy, nutritious foods in moderate quantities, do not consume too much of any nutritious food

- Exercise regularly
- Get plenty of rest. 

You should avoid things that can harm your unborn baby such as alcohol, tobacco and drugs.

You should also talk to your doctor about the prescription medications you are taking as well as medications you can buy without a prescription from your doctor, such as vitamins and pain relievers.
